Dec. 15, LOL cats and URL shorteners
While at BlogWorld Expo in October, I had the pleasure of interviewing Ben Huh, CEO of the Cheezburger Network, for WalletPop. We did tons of video interviews, so this one was finally edited and posted today.
Facebook & Google both announced their own URL shorteners and bit.ly announced its Pro version. It seemed kind of like URL Shortener Day. Hot Hardware.
July 14, texting while driving and more slap chop hilarity
Because it wasn’t obvious enough, a study was done that determined it’s dangerous to send text messages while driving. Wrote about it for Hot Hardware.
A DJ did a rap music remix version of the Slap Chop infomercial and now it’s going to be used as an actual commercial. Brilliant. Wrote about it for WalletPop.
July 11, are rice cookers useless?
I thought so. And I’ve eaten and made a lot of rice in my life. Married to a Colombian and lived in South Florida for years, so really. Apparently, a LOT of readers on WalletPop disagreed.
