March 31, zombies and Lost – two of my favorite things

First, I reviewed the awesome Zombieville USA iPhone app for the awesome Bricks of the Dead Lego Zombie comic site.

Then, I reviewed the most recent episode of Lost, which focused on our star-crossed lovers, Jin and Sun. On TVTyrant.

I also wrote up a piece on this really cool process created by a couple of profs from University of Washington that manipulates the pixels in any program, enabling the user to customize the program to their liking. It open sources the program without tampering with the code. On Network World.

March 26, Microsoft & open source, Netflix on Wii and no more 24

Microsoft claims it’s not the enemy of open source software it once was. It kind of makes sense. On Network World.

Netflix has announced it’s started shipping discs to customers who have Wii consoles, so they’ll be able to stream directly to their television sets. On Hot Hardware.
