Dell must have gotten a talking-to from Redmond, Wash., because it totally backed off its assertion that Ubuntu was safer than Windows.

Rather than just making a simple tweak to its terms of service, Apple would rather remove an open-source app from the iTunes app store. While it’s the company’s prerogative to do so, it’s not the right way to treat its customers. Network World.
