The episode was a fascinating glance into the psyche of our two heroes, the Winchester brothers. And the final scene was a nearly tearful plea for brotherhood. On TV Tyrant.

Jan. 30, Annie Wersching saves 24
Turns out the former soap star can ACT. She single-handedly turned the most recent episode of 24 from “meh” to must-watch. On TV Tyrant.
Jan. 29, lotsa clips
Found a couple of great Caprica clips, as well as the first four minutes of the Lost season premiere. Posted on TV Tyrant.
Jan. 28, lotsa great Lost stuff
Before the season premiere, there was tons of great Lost stuff floating around on the web, from videos to maps and just fun mash-ups. I rounded up some of the best on TV Tyrant.
Jan. 26, more broadband access & and an interview with me
The USDA (yes, that’s the United States Department of Agriculture, folks), is giving out a whole bunch of money for projects that will bring high-speed Internet access to rural areas. Hot Hardware.
Also, Neal Rodriguez interviewed me when we met up at the Web 2.0 Expo a few weeks ago, and here’s his post. It’s also on The Huffington Post. We discussed bacon and the state of journalism. The secret bacon-related project mentioned was Bacon Queen, which has since launched.
Here’s the video, but make sure to go to Neal’s blog for the great bacon mash-up there.
Jan. 25, Blu-ray and a blog carnival
The Carnival of Bauer!!! was finally posted on TV Tyrant. Even though we had weeks to prepare, the season premiere kind of snuck up on us. Things happen.
And we also live-blogged the fifth hour of 24 over on Blogs4Bauer.
Then, on Hot Hardware, I wrote about how Blu-ray sales are picking up, in large part due to built-in Internet connectivity.
What if Jeffrey Dahmer were a pig?
The lovely folks over at Social Blade made me this wonderful picture as a present for appearing on their show. Thanks, guys!
Jan. 22, being a good sport & Jack Bauer
It’s hard to teach your children to be a good sport when you’re not, and I discuss on iMommyTalk.com.
Over at Blogs4Bauer, our seasonal Point/Counterpoint series has started up again. Teri Bauer explains why Jack Bauer is really a great grandfather and not a bad influence at all.
Lastly, I found out that children aged 8 to 18 spend more time on average consuming entertainment media than most adults do at work; read about the survey on Hot Hardware.
Jan. 20, catch up with 24
