I ask iMommyTalk’s Question of the Day (QOTD), “When do you put your foot down over what your child eats?”

June 16, a new venture
If it seems as if I’ve been posting less on other sites lately, that’s not entirely incorrect. I’ve been very busy with new projects, including a new website called iMommyTalk.
Today, my first vlog posted on the site, about how to talk to your children about tragedy, based on an experience this weekend when our older son asked what happened at the World Trade Center.
June 14, I want to be Mary Shannon
The character of Mary Shannon on In Plain Sight is smart, sexy and tough. Who wouldn’t want to be her? Except without the crazy family, of course. I wrote about it on TV Tyrant.
June 12, a cool cell phone patent application
Apple engineers have filed a patent application that could revolutionize using your cell phone in an emergency; I wrote about it for Hot Hardware.
June 11, the DTV transition & Burn Notice
Millions of people still are not ready, and I wrote about it for Hot Hardware.
Then, I watched Burn Notice and happily report it’s got its groove back, on TV Tyrant.
June 10, on turning 40, software security flaws & BSG
I’m turning 40 this month and just can’t get too wound up about it; so I did what any writer would do, and … wrote about it, for Burbia.
In other news, Microsoft and Adobe issued all sorts of security patches for some very serious issues, and I wrote about them on Hot Hardware.
And, finally, I took a look at Battlestar Galactica – Classic v. Re-imagined, point by point, and the Classic doesn’t come out as poorly as you’d expect. Check it out on TV Tyrant.
June 8, breakin’ the law and BSG goodness
We don’t care about the law, we talk on our cell phones while driving; and I wrote about the Harris Poll on Hot Hardware.
And it was a two-fer on TV Tyrant today:
• First, I wrote about the September telemovie — Battlestar Galactica: The Plan and how fraktastic it likely will be.
• Then, I found out that Katee Sackhoff has signed on as a series regular for Season 8 of 24, so I had to write about it, of course.
Of course, being the only female member of Blogs4Bauer, I had to blog about Katee Sackhoff there, too.
June 7, Burn Notice returns
I’m still a wee bit disappointed with the direction Burn Notice has taken, but I’m not ready to write it off just yet. I expressed my feelings on TV Tyrant.
June 4, Claire’s return to Lost
Emilie de Ravin returns as a cast regular for the final season, and I ponder what that might mean, on TV Tyrant.
June 2, Breaking Bad finale
The season finale of Breaking Bad was beyond brutal (lot of alliteration there….); I wrote up my thoughts on TV Tyrant.
